Oops! Not only did Jennifer Aniston replace Britney Spears at the top of Forbes’ annual Celebrity 100 list, but Britney has disappeared from the list altogether. Though her $35 million annual take was less than other celebs’ earnings, Aniston topped the list because of her ubiquity — she appeared on magazine covers more frequently than any other celeb. Spears, meanwhile, appears to have been downgraded because of the lukewarm earnings of her debut movie, ”Crossroads,” and disappointing sales for her last album, ”Britney.”
The team of Eminem and Dr. Dre were the business mag’s No. 2 pick for the list (posted at Forbes.com), which combines financial statistics with press and Web visibility. Power couple Ben Affleck ($36 million) and Jennifer Lopez ($29 million), however, got separate listings: She’s at No. 5, he’s at No. 7. The rest of the top 10 includes: Tiger Woods at No. 3 ($78 million), Steven Spielberg at No. 4 ($200 million), Paul McCartney at No. 6 ($59 million), Oprah Winfrey at No. 8 ($180 million), Tom Hanks at No. 9 ($55 million), and the Rolling Stones at No. 10 ($66.5 million).
