Looks like Jennifer Lopez isn’t the only fashion plate in the family. Though he’s never exactly been known for his full head of hair, future hubby Ben Affleck is following in J. Lo’s footsteps as the new face of L’Oreal, the cosmetics company announced this week. (Lopez had a contract with the firm five years ago.) ”Ben embodies a new generation of men who show their strength in their personality but are not afraid to care for their appearance,” a L’Oreal spokesperson told England’s Hello! magazine.
The deal, reportedly worth more than a million dollars, makes Affleck only the third man to endorse L’Oreal, after Formula One race car driver Michael Schumacher and soccer star David Ginola. He’ll do TV, magazine, and billboard ads for the firm’s men’s hairstyling products, ads that will appear everywhere in the world except North America. Which should keep his Boston buddies from ribbing him.
