”Batman” producer and former Columbia Pictures head Peter Guber is casting off a massive piece of land. The man behind such movies as ”Rain Man” has put his Aspen-area spread on the block. The furnished, 15,000-square-foot home is tucked between two ski areas, and is decked out with a theater, a gourmet kitchen, and several guest suites. The house also boasts a pool, a gym, and a basketball court.
But listing broker Robert Ritchie, of Aspen’s Coates Reid Waldron, says the real boon here is the 650 private acres of rolling woodland and meadows that make up Mandalay Ranch. Bordered by national forest land, the creek- and pond-studded property includes two guest cabins and a 7,500-square-foot barn with additional living quarters.
