THE OPRAH ‘PROGRAM’

Her book club may be dead, but, by George, Oprah’s still got it. On July 18, diet guru Bob Greene dropped by for a third appearance on her show to check in on the three women who got with the program outlined in his weight-loss guide, Get With the Program! (326,000 copies in print after five printings). This week, the book balloons to No. 1. Is it coincidence, or the old Oprah magic? We’ll plump for the latter.
