We gave it an A-
Born in the U.S. and raised in Brazil, Lindsay reflects both sides of the equator. The singer-songwriter-guitarist superimposes dense bilingual wordplay over shifting sonic textures. He achieves startling contrasts (the bossa nova sway of ”Beija-me”; the scratches and blips driving ”In the City That Reads”) and neat parallels (the Bahian drums on ”Uma”). Idiosyncratic pop of the highest order.
