THE CHARTS

BY GEORGE, HE’S GOT IT

If you had to bet on which movie would take the top of the rental chart, this week was easier to call than most. After all, Ocean’s Eleven–the Rat Pack redux starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts–was the only new release to crack the top 40, let alone the top 10. The film was also a critical and audience darling, so it had that going for it. The DVD surprise is The Last Waltz’s No. 5 showing. Apparently, Martin Scorsese’s music doc had one more dance left in it.
