And me just being an entertainment-crazed person, watching all kinds of comedy, all of it came together as one. The first rap record my pops ever bought for me was UTFO’s ‘Roxanne, Roxanne.’ I was like 5 or 6, and ever since then, I knew this was what I wanted to do. Also, I loved Kurtis Blow, ‘If I Ruled the World,’ and ‘I’m Bad,’ by LL Cool J, all of that.”
