BIRTHS On Nov. 19, Australian-born media mogul Rupert Murdoch, 70, and his retired media-exec wife, Wendi, 33, welcomed their first child, 9-pound Grace Helen. Murdoch has four adult kids from two previous marriages. His News Corp. holdings include 20th Century Fox, Fox News Channel, the New York Post, and TV Guide….No, there is another. Ewan McGregor (The Phantom Menace), 30, and his production-designer wife, Eve, 35, welcomed their second child, Esther Rose, ”three weeks ago,” says his spokeswoman. Their daughter Clara is 5.

EXPECTING Oscar winner Geena Davis, 45, and her physician hubby of two months, Reza Jarrahy, 30, will greet their first child in April….William H. Macy (Magnolia), 51, and wife Felicity Huffman (Sports Night), 38, are expecting their second child in the spring. They have a 15-month-old daughter, Sofia Grace.

WEDDINGS Clinton aide-turned-memoirist and ABC pundit George Stephanopoulos, 40, married actress Alexandra Wentworth (Jerry Maguire), 35, Nov. 20, in Manhattan. Neither had been wed before.

SPLITS Actress Rosie Perez (Riding in Cars With Boys), 37, and her director husband of two years, Seth Zvi Rosenfeld (King of the Jungle), 40, have announced their separation. They have no plans for divorce, says her rep….Wheel of Fortune pointer Vanna White, 44, has ”amicably separated” from her husband of 11 years, restaurateur George Santo Pietro, 56, her spokesman confirms. They have two children.

COURTS Tom Cruise, 39, and Nicole Kidman, 34, have divided their property and come to an agreement on custody of their children, Isabella, 8, and Connor, 6. Terms weren’t disclosed. On July 31, a judge ”bifurcated” their marriage, meaning they were legally divorced….On Nov. 13, a New York appeals court ordered record producer Phil Spector, 60, to give the ’60s girl group the Ronettes (”Be My Baby”) $2.97 million in back payments for use of their music in TV and films. A lower court had ruled the group’s 1963 contract applied only to record sales. Spector’s ex-wife, former Ronette Veronica ”Ronnie” Bennett Spector Greenfield, 57, was among the plaintiffs.

DEATHS Jazz pianist Tommy Flanagan, 71, longtime accompanist and musical director for Ella Fitzgerald, of an arterial aneurysm, Nov. 16, in New York City….Actress Charlotte Coleman, 33, who played Hugh Grant’s foulmouthed, raven-haired roommate in 1994’s Four Weddings and a Funeral, of an asthma attack, Nov. 14, in London….British actress Peggy Mount (1968’s Oliver!), 85, of undisclosed causes, Nov. 13, in London….Actor-composer Albert Hague, 81, best known as the cantankerous music teacher Mr. Shorofsky in the movie Fame and its TV spin-off, of lung cancer, Nov. 12, in L.A. He won a 1959 Tony for his score for the musical mystery Redhead—and he scored the 1966 animated TV version of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
