This upbeat R&B ditty has the pop-flavored feel of coproducer Wyclef Jean’s other work. But the breezy music collides with the depressing lyrics about a single mother forced to prostitute herself. Claudette Ortiz vocally volleys with Robby Pardlo and Ryan Toby, whose advice seems simplistic. Still, desperation is rarely so peppy.
