The block-rocking big-beat throwback of Fatboy Slim’s ”Ya Mama” is a guitar-heavy rush, the sort of energizing keg-party stomp that first made Norman Cook famous in the States. It’s also one-dimensional and a little simple-minded, relying on a repetitive riff and an annoying ”push the tempo” refrain that gets old real fast. All surface and no substance, it’s a single few people will want to hear more than once. C
