We gave it a B-

In Mickey Blue Eyes, Grant dutifully trots out his floppy-haired, bumbling Englishness as a fine-art auctioneer sucked in to the ”family business” of his Mob-tied fiancée (Tripplehorn). He is aptly hapless and charming while, say, shoving a dead body into a car trunk, but really, haven’t we seen this shtick before?

Reel Goodies Grant gets a lesson in goombah-speak from prospective father-in-law James Caan. The Last Detail The Mafiosi are a veritable who’s who of gangster character actors, from the excellent Joe Viterelli (”Analyze This”) and Paul Lazar (”Married to the Mob”) to Tony Darrow (”GoodFellas”) and Vincent Pastore (”The Sopranos”).
