Bruce Vilanch, a large, furry man with a fondness for message T-shirts (sample: ”My other body’s in the shop”) and bold eyeglasses who writes comedy material for many of Hollywood’s top funny stars, gets to display a portion of his wardrobe and his one-liners in Get Bruce!, an affectionate puff profile.
Although Andrew Kuehn’s documentary is just one step above a home movie in content, depth, and technical quality, it coasts a long way on goodwill and good shtick from such FOBs as Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, and Bette Midler.
