Spotted at Paisley Park: Sheryl Crow. Don’t be surprised if she winds up guesting on The Artist’s upcoming album, due sometime before everybody starts partying like it’s 1999…. Ex-Car Ric Ocasek has reportedly been relieved of his producing duties on Hanson’s new CD…. Move over, Jewel. Yet another pop star-cum-literary lioness, Tionne Watkins, a.k.a. T-Boz of TLC, has written a collection of poems and essays, tentatively titled ”Thoughts,” for publication in November by HarperCollins…. U.K. popsters BoyZone are getting their first taste of U.S. success with ”No Matter What,” from the ”Notting Hill” soundtrack. The tune was penned by Andrew Lloyd Webber (”Cats”), who wrote it with former Meat Loaf producer Jim Steinman for the pair’s troubled musical, ”Whistle Down the Wind”…. Looks like Shirley Bassey’s got nothing on Shirley Manson: Garbage will record the theme to the next James bond film, ”The World Is Not Enough,” due Nov. 19…. Meredith ”I’m a Bitch” Brooks’ upcoming disc, ”Deconstruction,” includes a cover of flower child Melanie’s 1970 hit ”Lay Down (Candles in the Rain),” with, of all people, Queen Latifah guesting…. Hip-hop hooray: Naughty by Nature’s Treach (a.k.a. Anthony Criss) will marry Sandra Denton (a.k.a. Pepa of Salt ‘N’ Pepa), July 24, in New Jersey; Run-DMC’s Reverend Run will perform the ceremony. Do you, Treach, pledge to renounce O.P.P.?
