As the video box proclaims, “The Gang’s All Here” — and then some. In Lethal Weapon 4, Mel Gibson and Danny Glover reprise their roles as Riggs and Murtaugh — L.A.P.D.’s version of Abbott and Costello — as does Joe Pesci as their good-intentioned but aggravating sidekick and Rene Russo as Riggs’ better-half, Lorna. The “Lethal” family gets even larger in this sequel with the addition of Chris Rock as Murtaugh’s snarky son-in-law, not to mention babies from Murtaugh’s daughter and Lorna. How soon til we see Alfred the butler and Alice the housekeeper? (EW Grade: C) Other videos available this week:

  • Halloween H2O Michael What’s-His-Name returns to haunt his old nemesis/sister — original “Halloween”er Jamie Lee Curtis — and a new generation of scream kids, including “Dawson’s Creek” vixen Michelle Williams. (EW Grade: C+)
  • Air Bud: Golden Receiver Like a multi-talented Heisman Trophy winner, Bud shows his range in the sequel by making the successful transition from basketball-playing dog to football-playing dog.
  • Hav Plenty Christopher Scott Cherot writes, produces, directs, edits, and stars in this African-American romantic comedy about a would-be novelist who tries to win the heart of hard-to-get — and very engaged — newcomer Chenoa Maxwell. (EW Grade: B+)
  • Madeline “Fargo” actress Frances McDormand stars in this movie adaptation of Ludwig Bemelmans’ popular children’s book series.(EW Grade: B-)
