It’s too bad there’s no way to embed a snarled nose bridge and a bayou drawl in printed text, because without those Larry King Live-friendly tics, Clinton adviser James Carville dishes out little more than his sweatily partisan, spit-spewing, logic-deprived brand of Monicagate-related pundit shtick that’s simply grown tiresome and overexposed. …And the Horse He Rode In On, this polemic against Kenneth Starr and his investigation of the President, preys upon the purported right-wing connections of so many obscure journalists, lawyers, and judges that you may well begin to wonder about your grandmother, garbageman, etc. Depending upon your political proclivities, you’ll find yourself either nodding along approvingly or just nodding off.
