Sure, playing Laurie Strode in Halloween turned Jamie Lee Curtis into horror’s indisputable Scream Queen. But what has playing Michael Myers done for the actor behind the creepy William Shatner mask? In the latest installment, Halloween: H20, Myers is Hollywood stuntman Chris Durand (Armageddon), who admits ”I get to act out all my demons when I put that mask on.” But it turns out that starring as a knife-wielding maniac isn’t exactly a career boost. EW tracked down the other four men who’ve wreaked havoc as America’s most recognizable bogeyman.

— Myers portrayer Donald L. Shanks Made a killing in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers Has since carved out a living as a bit player. He appeared this year as Greywelf in the Fox TV flick Legion of Fire: Killer Ants.
