As ghastly horror sequels go, the follow-up to ’96’s Resident Evil is a four-star screamer. In Resident Evil 2, A bio-engineered virus — the nasty bug you thought had been destroyed in the original game — is on the loose in Raccoon City, transforming everyone it touches into flesh-eating zombies. It’s up to you, playing as either novice cop Leon or the deceptively dainty Claire (whose aim rivals Leon’s), to trace its source and wipe it out. Some of the game’s B-movie hokeyness is annoying, but as with any quality scare-athon, you can’t help but look. A
