Country-pop frosh Deana Carter continues to ride the razor’s edge right up Billboard’s best-seller chart with her sleeper hit, Did I Shave My Legs for This? Besides marking the album’s first move into the top 10, this week marks another significant milestone for Carter: By SoundScan’s calculations, Legs officially reached the one-million plateau, placing it among the half-dozen best-selling debut albums to have come out in 1996. And if that ain’t occasion enough to break open a celebratory jar of Neet…higher up the chart, the Capulet clan appears ready to bust a move on the recently indomitable Stefani stronghold.
