We gave it a C-

This direct-to-video buddy caper/romance asks the eternal question about sex: What’s love got to do with it? Lenny (The Single Guy‘s Jonathon Silverman) is a smart, shy romantic; his pal Joey (Melrose alum Dan Cortese) is a studly lothario. At their favorite diner, they argue endlessly about the importance of women. The irony is that, in this labored would-be romp, the underwritten females are just excuses for the boys to do goofy things. Also, screenwriter Ken Copel saddles Silverman with an incessant stream of vaguely hostile one-liners, which make Lenny seem like a brittle killjoy. Even if you could overlook the craters in …At First Sight‘s plot (how does Lenny get to Joe’s house after his car breaks down?), your rental fee is probably better spent on a cup of coffee at a diner with your own best friend.
