A companion to the duo’s live concert album 1200 Curfews, Watershed: 10 Years of Underground Video is an hour-long collection of music videos and rare footage from the Indigo Girls, which spans the granola gals’ entire career — from chatting on a local Atlanta cable show to strumming a spare CBGB set four days before signing their deal to lounging on Colorado’s Red Rocks amphitheater stage and musing about relationships. Highlights include the folk-rockers’ cathartic jangling before hordes of fans at their 1990 rain-forest benefit concerts and on 1995’s Honor the Earth tour. The Girls are most fervent in the snippets of their numerous charity shows, which makes you wonder how they’ve maintained such naive optimism over 12 years of touring. B
