Video Review: 'Pontiac Moon'

Posted on

Fashioning Danson as an eccentric intellectual is akin to calling cottage cheese cuisine. And that’s far from the only implausibility in this effortful feel-good tale of a family who take to the road on the eve of man’s first walk on the moon. While repeated exclamations like ”It’s our chance! Our chance to do something!” may not bother kids, adults get their only reward with some glorious footage of the Apollo XI mission — a reality more uplifting than a whole payload of contrived scripts.
