Happily, the bra-burning fervor of the early ’70s left these beauties unscathed. The 200 bras-sieres shown here in Brahaus—a mere one fifth of Samuele Mazza’s collection—take breast adornments to a new height. Extraordinarily elegant and humorous, the selections include two black cones with built-in vases, each holding a rose and two cheese graters interlaced with rawhide. Functional? Hardly. But these outlandish fantasies celebrate breasts in a way nudity never could.
