When stand-up comedian/TV star Jerry Seinfeld decided to peddle his angst shtick on paper, who would have thought that after two weeks the book would land at No. 3 (and rumored to be rising)? Now in its fourth printing, with a whopping 600,000 copies in print, it seems the public can’t get enough of this man’s views on life, replete with sections on ”Paldom,” ”Personal Maintenance,” and ”The Thing Is the Thing,” in which the author concludes that everything in our society is really ”one giant outfit.” So, with a hit book to complement his hit show, it looks like Jerry’s neurotic fretting may soon be obsolete.
