THE YELLOW ROLLS-ROYCE Rex Harrison, Ingrid Bergman (1964, MGM/UA, wide- screen, partial CAV, unrated, $39.98) It putt-putts along uneventfully, following three rich European couples (Harrison and Jeanne Moreau, George C. Scott and Shirley MacLaine, Ingrid Bergman and Omar Sharif) who idle in the backseat of the same limousine. Their amours never go anywhere, but so what? The luxury options thrown in for this laser edition make it well worth a spin. A behind-the-scenes short offers such cheerful inanities as, ”Makeup is a big job when the actor is a 20-footer.” And during the feature itself, chapter markers on the disc let you skip-shift into passing speed whenever the scenery palls.
