For those who hate to fly, here’s yet another reason to avoid air travel — an in-flight exercise video. Recently unveiled by Northwest Airlines, Plane Aerobics is led by Twin Cities fitness instructor Lonna Mosow. First, passengers must fasten their seat belts, set their chairs in the upright position, and stow their tray tables. And then the action begins: neck rolls, toe taps, thigh presses, heel lifts, and shoulder shrugs, five minutes in all. Over the past two months, an estimated 3 million passengers have watched this video update of the steaming face towel, and Northwest says the response has been positive. And unhappy campers, cheer up: You might finally have found a use for those blindfolds.
