Bravo 20: The Bombing of the American West

After 15 years as a photographer of the American landscape, Richard Misrach made an alarming discovery: A substantial stretch of the Carson Sink desert in Nevada was strewn with military debris, including hundreds of live bombs. The land was public land, and the Navy had been bombing it illegally for 40 years.
